about me
Hello and welcome. My name is Elisabeth Aue and my offer to you is my knowledge and experience on how to live your life healthier, more joyful and more fully present in your body. I will help you on your way to balance, vitality and strength again after an injury, a disease or a long time of forgetting this basic need we have: to feel alive.
To feel healthy, strong, vibrant and joyful.
I spent the last 15 years studying the human body and health from various aspects, eastern as well as western: from Physiotherapy to Osteopathy, from Yoga to Chinese Medicine and Thai Massage. With my work I am building a bridge between medicine and holistic health. Whether you come with a specific issue such as pain in your body, sleeping disorders or digestive problems, or you simply want to reconnect to your body, I am here to offer my hands and my guidance.

osteopathy
Your body is a union of muscles, joints, fascia, bones, blood vessels, organs and the nervous system. All parts work together and complete each other's function. Between the body’s systems there is balance and there is communication through the fascia and the nervous system. When the balance is lost, there is an inner principle of self-regulation. The body’s inherent healing capacity finds the imbalance that causes pain or disease, eliminates it and restores balance. A natural healing process.
My aim as an Osteopath is to facilitate and empower your natural healing process. Based on detailed knowledge of anatomy and physiology and years of clinical experience in my hands, I assess your body to find what keeps it from self regulation. Eliminating this obstruction through manual manipulation restores proper alignment, so all systems can work in harmony again.
physio
therapy
The human body is intended for movement.
Without healthy movement, we lose function and mobility of our muscles, joints, and fascia system. Our fascia ‘gets stuck’ — builds adhesions — and this results in further restriction of movement and problems in our joints. Pain occurs in our muscular and fascia system.

Physiotherapy uses exercises as well as massage techniques to help you restore flexibility and relieve tension and pain. Whether you come to Physiotherapy after a surgery or an injury, or whether you simply want to make a change to a healthy lifestyle, using the tools of physiotherapy I can help you take your health into your own hands.

thai massage
Thai Massage is an ancient tradition of over 2,500 years coming from South-East Asia with its roots lying in Ayurveda and Yoga and has been listed on Unesco's World Heritage list in 2019 as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. Practiced on the floor wearing comfortable clothes, Thai Massage consists of stretching techniques combined with gentle pressure along energy lines and stimulation of acupressure points.
Deeply relaxing, Thai Massage offers many health benefits, as recent studies show: lower stress levels, improved cardiovascular health, reduced overall muscle tone, improved flexibility as well as improved quality of sleep.
abdominal treatment
Manually treating the internal organs and fascia system of the abdomen allows for the vital organs to glide smoothly within your body. Free movement is essential to the proper function and health of your stomach, liver, intestines and all your other organs or viscera, as the medical term is.
Combining techniques from Visceral Osteopathy and Abdominal Thai Massage to treat the organs of the digestive tract as well as the diaphragm and pelvic floor can help with digestive problems such as abdominal pain, constipation, cramps, indigestion as well as period pain, lower back pain, sleeping disorders and much more. I specialise in treating scar tissue after operations.

yoga
Yoga helped me to connect to my body again after a sports injury. It helped me to find peace of mind —mental and emotional stability. It invited me to learn to pay attention to what is right now and allowed me to rediscover movement and breath as a therapeutic tool.

In my 22 years of yoga practice so far I explored different styles such as Vinyasa, Hatha and Yin Yoga. I incorporate aspects of Yoga and mindful movement into my therapeutic approach and teach Pranayama, conscious breathing exercises.
I offer private Yoga classes, Online Yoga classes as well as Yoga Workshops and Retreats.

This training is many things at once: a retreat for yourself, a journey of self discovery, time out in nature, a withdrawal from the noisy everyday life and connection in a mindful community.
Abdominal massage is an ancient tradition in many cultures, and our abdomen is a very special place in our body. It holds vital organs, and often also stories of shame and fear, emotions, wisdom, and strength.
Touching the abdomen brings with it a special sensitivity and connection and is a powerful tool to balance physical and mental imbalances.
This training combines Asian traditions such as Thai Abdominal Massage, elements of Chi Nei Tsang and Ayurvedic oil massage with Osteopathy, a holistic approach to western medicine. Knowledge of anatomy and physiology, along with an understanding of interrelationships, provides deeper insight into the function of the organs and how you can support their proper functioning.
Extensive practical work and self-experience, as well as supplementary knowledge about the power of medicinal plants and traditional applications, are the essence of this training.
You learn:
-
Osteopathic principles
-
tradition of Abdominal Thai Massage and work with energy lines
-
to feel the position of the organs
-
sensing the fascial layers
-
treating restrictions in the fascial system and within the organs
-
herbs and medicinal plants for the abdominal area
-
the use of oils and essential oils for abdominal massage
-
traditional applications such as liver compresses, herbal compresses
-
and much more
Open to all levels – beginners are welcome!
